PHNOM PENH ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY

As mentioned on the first page, this project was created to provide information about the state of animal welfare in Cambodia, particularly in the capital city of Phnom Penh. It is my hope that this information will inspire others to help Nicky in her efforts to alleviate some unnecessary suffering.

If you are a veterinarian or represent an NGO that works internationally with animal welfare groups, PPAWS welcomes any help you can give, whether in the form of advice, translation services, money, training, or something else entirely.

In addition to the normal costs of helping the animals that are abandoned at pagodas, Nicky is currently attempting to raise $30,000 to build a mobile veterinary clinic. With a van clinic PPAWS could reach Cambodian animals in the countryside and travel around visiting pagodas to spay and neuter on a regular basis. Nicky has set up a crowd funding page for this cause, you can find it here. For more or up-to-date information on PPAWS please visit their Facebook page (the link can be found in the footer). If you would like to donate directly to PPAWS you can do so through Nicky's Paypal account.

Thank you for visiting this project. If you have suggestions or feedback please contact me via the email address found on the main page of my site. One last easy way to help: If you found this project informative please share it.
