The Phnom Penh Animal Welfare Society (PPAWS) is a grassroots volunteer organization working to improve the lives of Phnom Penh's cats and dogs. PPAWS is mainly the work of one woman, high school physics teacher and animal rescuer, Nicky Scales.
This project was created to provide information about the animal welfare situation in Cambodia, particularly in the capital city of Phnom Penh. It is my hope that this information will inspire others to help Nicky in her efforts to alleviate some unnecessary suffering.
